Japanese Kitchen Knife Seki Sanbonsugi – Vegetable Knife (Nakiri) – 3 Layers 165mm
Discover this high-quality Japanese Nakiri knife, made in Seki City, Japan.
It features a durable three-layer stainless steel blade, with a molybdenum vanadium steel core known for its excellent sharpness, rust resistance, and long-lasting performance.
The Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, recognised for its wide, square-shaped blade with a straight edge. Its thin blade makes it ideal for tasks like slicing, peeling, and julienning vegetables, including large or hard ones like cabbage. The flat edge allows for clean, straight cuts, essential for professional-level preparation.
Please note: Unlike chef’s knives, Nakiri knives have a flat tip and are not suitable for piercing tasks or cutting meat or fish.
The blade features a three-layer construction with decorative patterns, adding a touch of luxury and visual appeal. A metal bolster between the blade and handle improves balance, offers hand protection, and enhances durability.
