Japanese-made Whetstone
Discover the versatile Japanese-made medium-grit whetstone.
Features of this Whetstone
This #1000 grit ceramic sharpening stone is made in Japan and designed for general-purpose sharpening. Perfect for restoring dull edges before finishing with a finer stone, it delivers reliable sharpening performance—ideal for everyday kitchen use.
The non-slip rubber base ensures excellent grip, while the ceramic composition offers durability and resistance to cracking. For routine knife care at home, a medium-grit whetstone is more than enough to keep your blades sharp and in excellent condition.
How to Use
- Soak the whetstone in water until it is fully saturated before use.
- Hold the knife at an angle of approximately 10 to 15 degrees and sharpen evenly.
- Do not wash away the slurry (sharpening residue), as it is essential to the sharpening process.
- For double-edged knives, sharpen both sides evenly with the same number of strokes.
