This finishing-grit whetstone (Grit #3000) is made using carefully selected abrasive materials and is kiln-fired for durability.
It is used to smooth the edge further sharpened with a medium-grit whetstone. The rubber sole provides excellent grip, and its ceramic composition makes it resistant to cracking.
How to Sharpen a Knife with a Whetstone:
Soak the whetstone in water until it is fully saturated.
Place the knife’s edge on the whetstone and sharpen at an angle of approximately 10 to 15 degrees. (Do not wash away the slurry that forms while sharpening, as it is necessary for the process.)
For double-edged knives, sharpen both sides evenly with the same number of strokes.
