The Gyuto is the Japanese name for the Chef’s knife. With its slightly curved edge and pointed tip, it is versatile, suitable for both cutting and precision tasks. This knife is used by both professional chefs and home cooks alike.

The blade is initially sharpened by professionals using rough and medium grinders and undergoes a meticulous heat treatment process—heated to 1050°C and cooled to -155°C—achieving exceptional hardness and toughness for consistent cutting performance.

The seamless one-piece design and hygienic handle are resistant to high-pressure sterilisation, ensuring easy maintenance and food safety. A metal bolster between the blade and handle enhances balance, hand protection, and overall aesthetics, with variations that add a touch of individuality.
